CRP WILL LAUNCH THE ANGEL FOOD MINISTRY BEGINNING DECEMBER 16, 2007
Martindale Brightwood C.R.P. has been approved to be a host site for the Angel Food Ministry Program. The Angel Food Ministry is a non-profit, non-denominational organization which partners with churches and community organizations throughout the country to help distribute food to those in need. For $30.00 you can receive a box of food containing both fresh and frozen items. The food items are first quality -- no damaged, seconds or out dated food items. This program will be of great benefit to your congregation and the community for a number of reasons. To learn more about Angel Food Ministries visit them on the web at: www.AngelFoodMinistries.com.
1. Provide additional income to benevolence funds.
2. Provide quality groceries at low prices to your congregation.
3. An effective outreach opportunity as well as a way to draw new visitors to each church in the Martindale-Brightwood community
4. Teach our youth life lessons in charity and service to others.
